We are joining the Wendover Choral Society in a programme of Beethoven's Mass in C and Mozart's Symphony No. 29. Conducted by Peter Bassano, the concert will be held in St Mary's Church, Church Lane, Wendover, HP22 6NL Tickets on the door.
We are beyond delighted to welcome back Chloe Rooke and Maddy Pickering in a programme of Beethoven's Leonora Overture, Mozart's Sinfonia Concertante for violin (Haim Choi) and viola (Maddy) and finishing with Brahms' Symphony No 4.
Joe Davies, an Oxford graduate, conducts us in a programme of Mozart's overture the 'Abduction from Seraglio', Beethoven's 'Ruins of Athens', Mozart's 3rd Violin Concerto and Haydn's Symphony No 100 (the 'Military')

We are combining forces with vOx, Oxford's leading chamber choir (https://www.vox-choir-oxford.co.uk/ ) in a full performance of Handel's Messiah. Conducted by vOx's David Crown, the soloists are: Madeline Robinson (Soprano), Annie George (Mezzo), Osian Wyn Bowen (Tenor) and Simon Pratt (Bass/Baritone).
We are very excited to welcome Jennifer Pike (see www.jenniferpike.com ) to the Sheldonian to perform Khachaturian’s violin concerto. Conducted by Robert Weaver (see www.robert-weaver.co.uk ), we will open with Khachaturian’s stirring Adagio from the ballet Spartacus and conclude with Tchaikovsky’s ever popular 5th Symphony.
Ben Goodall conducts us in a programme of string and wind serenades. Programme is Elgar's String Serenade (Op20), Dvorak's Wind Serenade (Op44) and String Serenade (Op22) and Mozart's String Serenade No 6 ('Serenada Notturna' K239) and Wind Serenade No 11 (K375).
Kentaro Machida conducts us in a programme of Mozart's Magic Flute Overture, Mozart's Horn Concerto no 4 (soloist Zoe Tweed) and Schubert's 9th Symphony 'The Great'.
We welcome back John Warner to conduct us in a programme of Mendelssohn's Overture and Scherzo from a Midsummer Night’s Dream , Ravel's Pavane, Chausson's Poème for violin (soloist Roma Tic) and orchestra, Mendelssohn's Hebrides Overture and Schumann's Symphony No 4.
